About

Well hello, you! (said in my best Moira Rose voice)

My name is Clarissa Earl. I'm a Pacific Northwest native and Midwest girl at heart who now calls the sunny Southwest home. I live in Albuquerque, NM with my husband Dale, our son Henry born in May 2020, and our fur kids Zoey (yellow lab) and Brinkley (golden retriever).

Dale and I met online on Match.com in 2015 (read more about that here) and were married in the fall of 2016 in the Albuquerque LDS Temple. When I married Dale, I also became a stepmom to our now seven-year-old twin boys, Aiden and Brennan. The boys live a few hours away from us with their mom and grandparents but we're currently able to visit them at least twice a month.

My day job is working as a Communication Specialist at Crossroads for Women, a local nonprofit that empowers justice-involved women and their children. I also blog and do freelance writing on the side. My work has appeared on RemodelaholicGlitter Guide, and The Everygirl.

Since moving to the Land of Enchantment, I've developed a mild obsession for all things green chile. I have a fond affinity for ducks, drink at least a Diet Dr. Pepper a day, enjoy watching baseball (Go Dodgers!),  and love country music (despite what I told my classmates back in middle school). When I'm not taking care of Henry or working for Crossroads, I enjoy baking delicious treats and watching too many TV shows on Netflix and Hulu with Dale.

Life Enchanted is where I document my journey as a woman, wife, mom, stepmom, fur mama, and writer. Want to get in touch? Drop me a line at earl.clarissa[at]gmail.com.
